The sixth solar month (未月, Sheep Month) is the year-branch’s own month — the Sheep within the Sheep year — and the 9 Purple Fire, the year’s reigning star, joins it in the centre. A doubled recognition register, and the year’s peak pressure month for Ox-born occupants.
About the Sheep Month (未月) in 2027
The Sheep Month (未月, Xiaoshu 7 Jul 2027 to Liqiu 8 Aug 2027) is the year’s pivot. The year-branch takes its own month within its own year — the doubled ben-ming register — while the monthly central star is the 9 Purple Fire, the same star holding the centre at the annual level.
That “double 9 in the centre” is one of the year’s strongest windows for visibility, recognition and formalisation: weddings, launches, publications, public talks. Where the calendar permits, major events belong here, with the specific date paired to date selection (擇日).
The personal registers run in both directions. Sheep-born occupants face the year’s most concentrated ben-ming month and benefit from traditional protective practice alongside careful date selection. Ox-born occupants, in clash with the TaiSui, face the year’s peak pressure window and should defer major decisions out of this month where deferral is feasible. Rabbit-born occupants find their Wood-trinity register at its strongest.

Frequently asked questions
When does the Sheep Month (未月) start in 2027?
The Sheep Month begins at Xiaoshu (7 Jul 2027) — the solar term that opens the month in the Chinese solar calendar. Each feng shui month runs from one solar term to the next, with the chart shifting at the boundary.
What does Star 9 in the centre mean for this month?
The monthly central star sits in the home’s qi reservoir for the duration of the month, layering its register over the year-level chart. Star 9 concentrates that register household-wide, making the month most active in activities and orientations aligned with the star’s classical attributes.
