4. The chart’s overall strength + Useful God + luck pillars. Classical doctrine reads shen sha against the chart’s overall context: a Day Master strength rating, the Useful God (the elemental balance the chart needs), and the active 10-year luck pillar. The same shen sha can read favourably or cautiously in different contexts within the same chart over time.
