Saving Yourself A Heartbreak With Qi Men Dun Jia (奇门遁甲)

February 9, 2020

Hey everyone! Well, technically Chinese New Year is over but here’s another belated Chinese New Year greeting! Hope everyone has had a good time with friends and family. What a weird start to the new year with the coronavirus outbreak and all. I’m going to talk quickly about Qi Men Dun Jia because I came across something really interesting recently.

I wanted to do a quick follow-up to my previous post featuring my podcast interview. If you’ve not listened to the podcast yet, you can find it here: The Millenial’s New Interest In Chinese Astrology.

I’m starting to appreciate why there’s a bit of hype around Qi Men Dun Jia and why it’s easy to sell as a course. It seems like every practitioner has jumped on the bandwagon and are starting to offer Qi Men Dun Jia as part of their services. Given the right guidance, I think it may be one of the easiest Chinese metaphysics techniques to pick up. I’m sorry that I have to keep showcasing Qi Men Dun Jia using topics related to love and romance. I can’t help the fact that this is one of the most common topics people around my age ask about and I want to keep some of my posts light-hearted too. Nothing gets people more excited than love and romance for some reason.

The Context

If you’ve already gone through the podcast (and finished listening to the whole thing), you’ll know that my interview was hosted by a lovely young lady called Nicole. She’s the producer of the podcast and huge fan of astrology. I did a quick reading for her during the interview where hilarity ensued and the session ended off with me promising her I’ll ‘screen’ the guys she dates till we find one she could eventually marry.

Sorry to be a buzzkill for all you hopeless romantics out there, but there is a practical side of relationships that needs to be fulfilled when it comes to successful relationships, so you definitely won’t hear me saying that you will find someone and fall in love if you haven’t sorted out your life. Some of us will always remain single; some of us will find it hard to remain single (if you get what I mean); some of us will hate being single and lastly, only a few, of course, know how to be happy being single. You can read through my other blog posts tagged under “Love” to know what I’m talking about. Like it or not, people will always be ‘screening’ you with or without astrology or Chinese metaphysics, but of course, astrology makes it easier.

Anyway, so Nicole who is now my little sister in astrology came to me saying that there’s this guy who is interested in her so, as always, I took out my phone, generated the Qi Men Dun Jia chart started deciphering what the stars are hinting.

Nicole gave me the permission to share what happened:

Sorry for the profanities but like I always say, I’m just like any other millennial out there. I don’t act holier than thou or behave like I’m some sage. Pardon the way I speak over WhatsApp. It’s just the way I am with my friends.

Qi Men Dun Jia Can Be Used On Others

The reason why Qi Men Dun Jia is so popular is because you can use it on others and get meaningful insights and you don’t need that birth details for this. Yes, what I’m saying is that you can find out anything you want and you don’t need any personal information on this person before. This makes it incredibly useful for catching cheating spouses using Qi Men Dun Jia which I’ve done several times for clients.

I’m not going to go too much into the technicals here. Going back to the Qi Men dun Jia chart, here are some things we can immediately see:

  • This encounter between Nicole and this fella will definitely not lead to a marriage at the end of the day. This is perhaps the easiest thing to see by assessing where liu he (六合) and xiu men (休门) is because these two symbols represent marriage and relationships.
  • This guy was also clearly hiding something and did not come clean, because the chart shows very clearly he got a divorce and it’s very clear that there was a third party involved that tore up the marriage. Of course, he’s not going to admit this. Yes, we asked him. How did we see this?
  • Three Stems representing him, his wife, and the third party all ended up in the same sector which is the 兑 sector. There is also a structure (格局) we call 白虎猖狂 which allows us to immediately know marriage is involved and the fault is on the male.
  • The Qi Men Dun Jia chart also shows signs of this person having character flaws as the Gods and Stars appearing with the Stem representing him are all negative ones. Nicole did share his birth details eventually and his BaZi and Zi Wei Dou Shu charts confirmed this too.

It’s quite clear that the wife took it very badly and arguably is the victim here because the position of the Stem representing her is in its weakest position but it is the strongest position for the husband, which basically means this 白虎猖狂 structure is quite severe. (Update: Nicole shared that the ex-wife volunteers at a dog shelter. She’s already won us over.)

As mentioned, the Stem representing the third-party is in the same sector, and this Stem is in a position where it’s starting to strengthen, symbolizing the diminished affinity with the wife and increased affinity with the third-party. The third-party, whoever she is, is not going to get harmed by any of the things going on.

This guy also definitely met this third-party at work because 生门 in involved and 生门 is used to deduce matters related to work and business.

Before everyone gets overly excited about forecasting your love life using Qi Men Dun Jia, please remember that this technique is a tactical, micro-view technique, so its use will be different from BaZi and Zi Wei Dou Shu. If you are seeing someone, Qi Men Dun Jia won’t be able to forecast your partner’s whole life, only specific questions.

Just for fun, make a guess what the occupation of this guy is, and I’ll give you a free Qi Men Dun Jia chart reading. 😉

Lastly, on a serious note, if you’re looking for a BaZi consultation or Qi Men Dun Jia forecast, don’t be afraid to reach out! Just remember that I use all three techniques I know (includes Zi Wei Dou Shu) during consultations.
