A Yin Wood born in the season that feeds wood reads as a strong Day Master with surplus to spend on demanding industries; the same Yin Wood born in the season that controls wood reads as weak, with the chart’s industry-fit calculus inverting accordingly.
Heavenly stems vs Earthly branches. A career-fit reading does not stop at the Day Master’s heavenly stem. The earthly branches across all four pillars carry hidden stems (人元) that contribute to the chart’s elemental balance. A Day Master that looks weak on the surface stems can be revealed as strong by hidden-stem support; the opposite case is equally common. The full reading layers stems, branches, hidden stems, and the seasonal modifiers together — not the Day Master in isolation.
The Useful God (用神) determines what the chart needs.
