Dog-born occupants in 2028: Metal Directional Ally with TaiSui (申戌半會). A supportive tie: the Dog shares the Metal directional group (申酉戌) with the Monkey TaiSui.
In classical Chinese astrology, Dog (狗, branch 戌) and the 2028 year branch, Monkey (申), read as Metal Directional Ally with TaiSui (申戌半會).
Dog (戌) and Monkey (申) belong to the same Metal directional group (申酉戌三會), which the Rooster completes. A same-direction ally is a helpful rather than pressured position, and the year’s outcomes still rest mainly on personal chart factors.

No — for Dog-born, 2028 reads as Metal Directional Ally with TaiSui (申戌半會), which is not a fan-tai-sui relationship.
Steady support. The directional tie with the TaiSui is helpful, not dramatic; personal chart factors still decide the year.
