春秋時伯牙鼓琴，唯有鍾子期能聽懂其心聲，子期死後，伯牙破琴絕弦，喻知音難覓，寧缺勿濫。
Yu Boya was a master zither player whose incredibly deep music could only be understood by his friend Zhong Ziqi (the Zhiyin/Soulmate). When Ziqi died, Boya smashed his zither, refusing to ever play again, because no one else could truly understand him.
