姜太公懷才不遇多年,猶如美玉藏於石中,直到八十歲在渭水遇周文王賞識,從此大展神威,輔佐滅商建周。
Jiang Ziya (Taigong) was an incredibly brilliant man who lived in total obscurity until he was eighty years old (jade hidden in stone). When King Wen of Zhou finally discovered him, he was immediately recognized as a genius, appointed Prime Minister, and used his brilliant strategies (drawing the sword to cut the clouds) to help establish the Zhou Dynasty.
