春秋時代范蠡助越王勾踐滅吳後,功成身退,乘舟泛遊五湖,後經商致富被尊為陶朱公的故事。
Fan Li, later known as Tao Zhu Gong, was a brilliant strategist who helped the state of Yue defeat Wu. Knowing that the King of Yue could share hardship but not peace, Fan Li wisely resigned, changed his name, and sailed off to the Five Lakes. He became an incredibly wealthy, carefree merchant. It symbolizes perfect timing, smooth sailing, and knowing when to seek true freedom.
