The tyrant Dong Zhuo built the massive fortress of Meiwu to hoard twenty years' worth of grain, immense gold, and treasures, believing he could live there safely no matter what happened. However, his tyranny led to his assassination by his adopted son Lu Bu, rendering his hoarded wealth useless. It warns against greedy accumulation and false security.
