Common Questions

Before you
commit.

Strongly recommended, but not strictly required. You need to be comfortable with the planets, the twelve signs, the twelve houses, the Ascendant, and basic aspects. If those concepts are second nature to you — from Foundations or equivalent self-study — you'll be fine. If not, start with Level 1.
Foundations teaches you what each part of a chart is. Deepening Your Practice teaches you how the parts interact — through aspect patterns, dignity, dispositorship, retrogrades, the Lunar Nodes, and ultimately through synastry and composite charts. Level 1 builds the vocabulary; Level 2 turns it into fluent reading.
No. Predictive techniques — transits, progressions, returns, profections — are the focus of Level 3 (Advanced Natal Techniques). Level 2 is dedicated to deepening your reading of the natal chart itself, plus relationship charts (synastry and composite). One technique at a time, taught properly.

No. As with Level 1, the goal here is competence, not credentials. The end-of-module quizzes and the integrated practice exercises are the real measure of what you've learned.
Level 3: Advanced Natal Techniques — covering transits, secondary progressions, solar arc directions, solar returns, eclipses, Hellenistic time lords (annual profections and zodiacal releasing), and full predictive synthesis. Students who complete Level 2 are positioned to step directly into Level 3.
Almost certainly. Books teach you concepts in isolation; this course teaches them as a working system, in the order they actually matter, with the logic that connects them. Most students who arrive "well-read" leave saying it was the first time it all clicked into place.
