Auspicious Dates · 黃道吉日
Choosing an auspicious date (擇日, zé rì) is one of the oldest applied disciplines in classical Chinese metaphysics. The classical Tong Shu (通書) almanac codifies a system of daily attributes — the 28 Mansions (二十八宿), the 12-day Yi-Jian-Po-Cheng (建除滿平定執破危成收開閉) cycle, the day’s star-flag composition (神煞), seasonal solar terms, and lunar phases — that together determine whether a given date is suitable for a given activity.
This page is the entry point to Master Sean Chan’s free auspicious-date reference, computed for several recurring life activities. For chart-specific date selection (which factors in the parties’ own BaZi), book a 1:1 consultation.
