I figured I’d use a case study to get into the groove of writing again. I do wish to write something philosophical and personal soon, but I’ll leave that till later. As you may or may not know, I’m busy with fatherhood and having a pretty good time with it.
Now, what better case study on a person whose mysterious death goes unsolved, and his name refuses to die along with him. Don’t know who Jeffrey Epstein is? Here’s a summary:
Epstein is primarily known for his extensive network of powerful connections, including politicians like former U.S. President Bill Clinton, Britain’s Prince Andrew, and other celebrities, business leaders, and academics. However, he became infamous for his involvement in sex crimes, particularly the sexual abuse and trafficking of underage girls. In 2008, he was convicted in Florida on state charges of procuring a minor for prostitution, serving a controversial 13-month sentence with work release privileges. Federal investigations revealed he had orchestrated a vast sex-trafficking operation, recruiting and abusing dozens of young women and girls over decades, often at his private properties, including a private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Now, before I begin, and you know I love saying this: Whether or not someone has a good life or chart or not really has very little to do with money and title. A big title or fame also doesn’t necessarily mean you have power or that people respect you. I think cases like Jeffrey Epstein’s are a good reminder of that, and also a reminder that karma has its way of drilling itself up your ass when the right moment comes. The saying goes 「善有善报，恶有恶报；不是不报，时辰未到」。
I also like to remind people that if astrology works, and I know you know it does, it just means karma is real. If you don’t believe astrology works, feel free to continue deluding yourself with whatever organised religion or cult you deem fit.
Alright, let’s jump right in and talk about this guy whose goddamn name keeps coming up.
Jeffrey Epstein’s BaZi Chart
Ah, yes, another bloody Dragon. Legend amongst the uneducated dimwits of a generation that should be dead by now says that Dragon babies are auspicious. But here we are, with a paedo-dragon. If only my dick grew a centimetre each time someone said having a Dragon zodiac is auspicious – but then I wouldn’t know what to do with it, so let’s just let the dimwits stay dimwits till they reach their final form of being a vegetable. Did I AI this?
I’m just going to assume that the birth time I found online is accurate, and someone has done the homework based on his year of arrest and death.
Here’s what jumps out at me, BaZi-wise:
- He’s a strong Yin Metal (辛金) Daymaster for sure. He was born during an Earth month, and there are plenty of Earth and Metal elements showing up to push his Daymaster towards the strong side.
- The Critical Element and “Useful God” would be Yang Water 壬水。 We see it appearing on the Year Stem. Most BaZi enthusiasts might interpret this as a good sign, but it’s actually not. - One significant consolation for Jeffrey Epstein’s BaZi chart is the presence of a strong, rooted Yin Water 癸水 on his Month Stem. We do welcome this element, but theoretically, it’s not what his chart truly needs.
- Once Water is in the picture, we can then bring in Wood, his Wealth Element, to protect Water from Earth. We ideally want Yang Wood 甲木 to show up, but it’s non-existent in his chart, so we have no choice but to rely on Yin Water 乙木 instead.
Jeffrey Epstein might have been wealthy and so-called famous, but I would regard his BaZi chart as a very average one where failure, as we’ve witnessed, is guaranteed later in life.
Yang Water 壬 and Yang Wood 甲 are his most important elements, but his chart is structured in a way where 壬 and 甲 are both extremely weak and also harmed.
The only consolation about his weak natal chart is that his first few 10-Year Phases were deemed really supportive. His 甲寅, 乙卯, 丙辰, and 丁巳大运 are all deemed positive, and his downtrend and eventual downfall begin once he reaches his 戊午大运 in 1998. Why was this 戊午 10-Year Phase so devastating? Because both 壬 and 癸 Water are harmed.
Although there were no direct law enforcement actions taken against Jeffrey Epstein in 1998, take note that it was alleged that Epstein sexually abused and trafficked Virginia Giuffre beginning at age 15, after she was recruited by Ghislaine Maxwell at Mar-a-Lago in 1998. 戊癸合 forms during this 大运 of his, and any BaZi practitioner worth his or her salt would tell you that 戊癸合无情之合 is most akin to a relationship between an older male and a much younger woman, but one that has no emotions.

What’s interesting to note is that Jeffrey Epstein was arrested in 2006, which is a 丙戌 year. Everyone should have seen me mention this broken BaZi chart structure, called 伤官见官, which means Hurting Officer and Direct Officer appear together and clash. 丙 here, appearing with 壬 Water, is such a clash, and even 辰戌冲 forms, making it even more severe. 丙 and 壬 clashing also has a special meaning in BaZi, which makes the signs of his arrest even clearer. He eventually got jailed and served time, and he was released in 2009.
I’m not going to use Zi Wei Dou Shu this time, as I’m not in the mood, and it’s not a technique that people practice often, and those who practice it are absolute jokes. It’s also not something that people will readily understand. The Western chart analysis will be interesting later on, so please read on.
Jeffrey Epstein’s Arrest in 2019
Jeffrey Epstein was arrested in 2019. He was in his 庚申大运 by that point, which is arguably his worst 10-Year Phase – much worse than his 戊午 10-Year Phase, where his life started to go downhill.
Why was this 庚申大运 that bad? Well, pay close attention and you’ll see that it holds both 劫煞 and 羊刃。 This 庚申大运 also triggers Earth, thereby harming Water, as well as completely obliterating Wood in his chart. Despite 戊午 and 己未 both being negative as well, it’s the 劫煞 and 羊刃 that made the difference this time, and 2019 triggers these two auxiliary gods (神煞).
Did Jeffrey Epstein Really End His Own Life, Or Was It Something Else?
If we were to examine it using BaZi, 2019’s 己亥 year, which harms his Yin Water 食神, does paint a picture of someone in a very dark emotional place. If we go by the typical 枭神夺食 lens, then yes, it does paint a possibility of him ending his life.
However, we need to remember to take into account the story his 10-Year Phases are painting. 庚申 showing up here does represent enemies, and powerful ones, since 庚 Metal is extremely strong here. 庚 Metal is also an element that is not found in his natal chart and is considered a ‘foreign’ element – and this paints a story that whatever happens to him during this 10-Year Phase is very much dependent on foreign forces and things beyond his control. The fact that his 10-Year Phase is of such strong Metal also means Water is unlikely to be harmed, so 枭神夺食 is not the trigger for his demise.
One interesting thing to note here is that 卯申合 forms, which completely destroy 卯 Wood. Guess what? 卯 represents the throat.
Let’s see if his Western chart paints the same story:
Here are some of the first thoughts that went through my head as I first laid eyes on his Western chart:
- It is perplexing to me that someone with an exalted Saturn, the planet representing justice and karma, would have committed heinous crimes like he did. His Saturn is conjunct Neptune, although this alone shouldn’t explain his behaviour.
- Saturn does, however, square his natal Sun (2nd House) and Mercury (1st House), which are in Aquarius and Capricorn, respectively, both of which are ruled by Saturn. His Sun and Mercury are both squared by their own dispositor. Let’s not forget that his Chiron is involved, too.
These signs alone are not enough for us to conclude he’s capable of doing what he needs. So let’s dig deeper.
Now, if you recall the case study I did on the JMS cult leader, you would remember that degenerates who have the tendency to sexually abuse others often (not always) have interesting 5th and 8th House interactions. Here’s what I noticed:
- Jupiter is in his 5th House of Taurus and Trines his Chiron in his 1st House. It tells me that Jeffrey Epstein deals with his Chiron with 5th House and Jupiter themes.
- His Chiron, interestingly and unfortunately, also sextiles his natal Mars and Venus in 3rd House Pisces, which is ruled by Jupiter.
- Put everything together, this person deals with his Chiron also with Mars and Venus themes, but with Jupiter as the focus. Mars rules his 4th and 11th House, whereas Venus rules his 5th and 10th House.
- The interesting bit here is that Jupiter and Mars have mutual reception as they are in each other’s ruling signs, and Mars is taken along for a ride too because it is conjunct Venus.
I think Jeffrey Epstein’s Chiron basically tells us he’s going to deal with his wounds in very interesting ways, although we’ve not added the demented and twisted layer to the analysis here.
What stands out as interesting to me, and this is the first time I’m seeing such a placement, is that his Lilith, South Node, and Vertex are all in his 8th House of Leo. Fans of astrology should know by now that the 8th House governs personal transformation, other people’s assets, and sex/intimacy. There is a reason why the 8th House can represent these things that are seemingly unrelated, but I will explain this another time.
A textbook description of Lilith is that she symbolises the “dark feminine” archetype, embodying themes of rebellion, independence, and the shadow self, including repressed desires, primal instincts, and aspects of sexuality that society may deem taboo or wild. Now, his Lilith opposes his Sun, Trines his Moon, and it also bloody squares his Jupiter. His Moon is in Aries, which is ruled by Mars, so his Venus, conjunct Mars, implicates his Moon as well.
It’s starting to make sense, but there are a lot of pieces we need to string together.
Let me try to make it simpler:
- His Chiron and its aspects basically tell us the way he is going to deal with his wounds and issues. It’s a Chiron in the 1st House, so expect the wounds to relate to self-image, role in society, and ambitions. This is further intensified by the fact that his Saturn is exalted in the 10th House of Libra. To put it in a one-sentence summary: He deals with his Chiron issues with materialism and pleasure due to his 5th House, Jupiter, and Venus being involved. Mars also intensifies this.
- His Sun oppose Lilith, which is described as a struggle between expressing one’s true self and conforming to societal expectations. It’s as though he can’t feel alive unless his Lilith is indulged, and we know he’s going to bloody indulge in it because his South Node and Vertex are almost conjunct Lilith as well. Lilith squaring his Jupiter is the part of his chart that explains why the desires of Lilith are expressed the way it did. I also want to point out that Jupiter, being in his 5th House, loosely squares all these special points in his 8th House.
Below is the transit chart during his time of death:
Let’s point out the interesting bits:
- I personally find it really interesting that Transit Vertex and Lilith were in his 2nd House, opposing his natal Vertex and Lilith in his 8th House. Transit Chiron is also conjunct his natal Moon. I also noticed transit Jupiter conjunct Transit Moon in his 12th House, which Trined his natal Moon. Note that this transit also Trines his natal 8th House where his natal Lilith, South Node, and Vertex are.
- These aren’t interesting in the sense that they describe why the events unfolded the way they did, but it feels more like a moment where he came to terms with why he is the way he is.
- The Sun was transiting Leo, and the Sun represents our “self”, core, and ideals. A Sun and Moon that are afflicted during a transit would theoretically drive someone to end his/her own life, but there is nothing weak about his natal Sun and Moon at this moment.
- He may have had Saturn and Pluto transiting his 1st House, which is pretty intense, but I cannot conclude that such a transit would have resulted in him ending his life just like that.
The bottom line is this: His natal chart and the transits on the day of his death do not look like someone who would have ended his own life.
Now, if you look back at my case study on Kim Soo Hyun, Kim Sae Ron’s natal chart and transits do have signs of her ending her life. I didn’t go into the explanation of it out of respect to those who have passed. I’m just trying to say that I have a reference point, and Jeffrey Epstein doesn’t look like he would have taken his own life.
Let’s Assume That Jeffrey Epstein Was Assassinated
First of all, I just wanna say that I’m an astrologer. Whoever is in high positions of power is reading this; whatever happened is none of my business. You do you. I don’t care. *Peace sign*
Let’s add some structure to our thoughts and pray that it’s not confirmation bias:
- Since we have ruled out Jeffrey Epstein taking his own life based on his natal chart and transits, let’s look for other signs – enemies in particular.
- Open enemies are associated with the 7th House, and hidden enemies are associated with the 12th House.
- His 7th House is Cancer and ruled by the Moon. His natal Uranus is there. The Moon’s dispositor is Mars.
- His 12th House is Sagittarius, ruled by Jupiter, which is in his 5th House of Taurus as mentioned earlier. Jupiter’s dispositor is Venus.
- Now, what I find interesting about his transit during the time of his passing (which may not be entirely accurate due to the mysterious nature of his passing), is that transit Venus and Mars conjunct the Sun.
- The Sun rules his 8th House, which is associated with death, and Venus and Mars, the dispositors of the Houses representing enemies, are there along with it. The Sun itself will always represent the “self” and one’s life-force.
- Transit Sun is forming a conjunction with his natal Pluto, which is the planet of life and death.
- Transit Saturn and transit Pluto are opposing his natal Uranus in his 7th House, associated with open enemies. Uranus rules Aquarius, and his natal Sun is there.
- Transit Uranus, on the other hand, is forming a square with its Lilith, North Node, and South Node.
- Transit Neptune conjuncts his natal Mars and Venus. Neptune is associated with mystery and hidden things. This conjunction will give his transit of Mars and Venus a completely different theme.
If I had to put my money somewhere, the story of him getting assassinated is way, way stronger than him ending his own life. The planets represent his enemies, life and death, and mystery – all of which are involved. Do your own research. There are plenty of things that don’t feel right, such as fractures of his left and right thyroid cartilage and left hyoid bone, which have never been seen before in such a suicidal hanging.
I should probably conduct a case study on Ghislaine Maxwell and examine whether she has a high likelihood of facing the same fate.
I am not in the mood for something philosophical or moral today. I’ve done enough of those. So all I am going to say is this: Everything that happened to this man is none of our business. He did some pretty bad stuff, and he died. Well deserved, arguably.
